Bananas (IMF) is a commodity index reflecting import prices of bananas from Central America and Ecuador in US ports and is used as a price benchmark in the agricultural sector. In 2026 the maximum reached 1215.47 USD/ton, the minimum was 989.91 USD/ton, and the average stood at 1100.30 USD/ton. The index is published by the IMF and is applied to fruit export and import analysis.
