Index description

A7A5 is a stablecoin fully backed by the Russian ruble and pegged to it in a 1:1 ratio. The project was launched in February 2025 by Old Vector, a company registered in Kyrgyzstan, with the support of PSB Bank and with the approval of the Kyrgyz government. The main purpose of the A7A5 is to facilitate cross—border settlements between Russia and Central Asian countries, especially in the face of sanctions and restrictions on traditional bank transfers.
