Index description

The Retail Sales Monitor (RSM) is a monthly measure of UK retail sales that reflects economic activity in the retail sector. The data is collected by BKRT (British Retail Consortium), which includes 60% of retail representatives. Reflects the change in turnover to the corresponding month of the previous year, not seasonally adjusted.
