Index description

The index reflects the change in the level of consumer prices, with the exception of goods and services influenced by seasonality, relative to the same period a year earlier (yoy). In core inflation, Rosstat does not take into account some food products (fruits and vegetables and vodka), fuel (gasoline), transportation services, communication and housing and communal services. Typically, information on inflation is published 3-5 working days after the end of the month.
