Index description

The Bank of Russia platinum accounting price is a daily benchmark derived from the London spot fixing and serves as an indicator for the metallurgical industry. In August 2026 the maximum reached 5135.26 RUB/gram, the minimum was 4140.33 RUB/gram and the average stood at 4681.95 RUB/gram. The price is converted using the official USD/RUB exchange rate with Friday fixing; data are produced by the Bank of Russia.
