Index description

BADLAR en pesos is a weighted average interest rate for deposits over a million pesos with a maturity of 30 to 35 days (the exception is the period 15.04.2002 - 31.10.2003 when deposits with the maturity of 7 to 35 days were also included) paid by all banks of Argentinian banking system. According to current methodology, the calculation is based on the rates paid on deposits by all banks of Argentinian banking system. The rate is calculated by Central Bank of Argentina.
