Index description

The seasonally adjusted annualized consumer price index (SAAR) provides an estimate of what annual inflation would have been if the current monthly seasonally adjusted inflation rate had been maintained for a full year. The SAAR inflation calculation is based on data on estimates of seasonally adjusted series of dynamics of monthly CPI values published by the Bank of Russia.
