The Bloomberg US Aggregate Index is a widely recognized leading benchmark that provides a comprehensive assessment of the market for investment grade bonds denominated in US dollars with a fixed interest rate and subject to income tax. This index covers a wide range of securities, including Treasury bonds, government-guaranteed and corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities (MBS) issued by government agencies, asset-backed securities (ABS), and secured mortgage obligations (CMBS), both agency and non-agency.
