Index description

The revenues of the Russian Federation’s federal budget represent the total inflows forming the government’s financial resources. They include tax and non-tax revenues such as the corporate profit tax, mineral extraction tax (MET), export duties, excises, value-added tax (VAT), as well as income from managing the National Welfare Fund (NWF) and other sources. This indicator is used to assess the fiscal system’s performance, the sustainability of public finances, and the dynamics of government revenue policy.
