Index description

The Index reflects the dynamics of the M1 monetary aggregate related to the population within the scope of macroeconomic indicators. It covers data on cash and funds in current accounts of individuals in the national currency within the country. The Index is based on aggregated data from the banking system and represents a narrow segment of the money supply. The calculation methodology includes only the most liquid assets, excluding less accessible forms of money.
