Index description

The Producer Price Index (PPI) by economic activity (ISIC classification) compared to December of the previous year shows the cumulative change in producer prices in industry since the beginning of the current year relative to the previous December. This indicator reflects annual production-side inflation trends and is used to analyze sectoral dynamics and monitor price developments in industries such as mining, manufacturing, energy supply, and utilities.
