NLB is a financial and banking institution incorporated in Slovenia as a joint stock company, with a network of 159 branches in its domestic market. NLB provides services to approzimately 68 000 corporate and 907 000 retail customers and had 4 097 employees as of 31 December 2008. NLB pursues a universal banking model comprising of corporate and retail banking and securities brokerage. It is also a leading bank in Slovenia with 30.5 per cent market share by total assets.
