Its patented Sub-threshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT) platform is designed to reduce power consumption of battery- and wireline-powered devices alike. SPOT consists of a set of chip design techniques that allow standard transistors to operate in an ultra-low power mode called sub-threshold and near-threshold.
