Bank of Commerce offers a range of banking products and services, including deposit and cash management products, corporate banking, consumer banking, credit card services, e-banking solutions, trade, remittances, treasury, and trust services. It was formed in 1963 as Overseas Bank of Manila. In 1984, the name was changed to Commercial Bank of Manila. In the same year, the bank was sold to the Government Service Insurance System. In 1988, The First National Bank of Boston acquired Commercial Bank of Manila and renamed it the Boston Bank of the Philippines. In November 1991, the bank changed its official name to Bank of Commerce. In 1993, the majority interest of the First National Bank of Boston was bought by Filipinos. Currently, San Miguel Properties, Inc. and Miguel Corporation Retirement Fund are controlling shareholders of Bank of Commerce.
