Banco BTG Pactual SA, formerly Banco UBS Pactual SA, is a Brazil-based bank primarily engaged in the investment banking and investment management activities. Together with its subsidiaries, the Bank offers a range of financial services, including investment banking, corporate lending, brokerage services, asset management, wealth management, commercial and consumer banking services, merchant banking and real estate investments. As of December 31, 2011, the Bank had a number of subsidiaries in Brazil and abroad, such as BTG Pactual Asset Management SA Distribuidora de Titulos e Valores Mobiliarios, BTG Pactual Corretora de Titulos e Valores Mobiliarios SA, BTG Pactual Overseas Corporation, BTG Pactual Europe LLP, and FC DAS SA, among others. On November 7, 2013, the Company acquired a 94.34% interest in TTG Brasil Investimentos Florestais Ltda, a Sao Paulo-based provider of timberland asset management services, and a unit of Equator LLC's The Timber Group LLC subsidiary.
