Cbonds prepares Polish bond arranger league table based on 1Q2017 results

Cbonds News Agency has prepared an arranger league table for the Polish corporate bond market based on 1Q2017 results. The league table takes into account all corporate bonds of Polish issuers and bonds of IFIs in PLN. All issues taken into account in the 1Q2017 league table amount to PLN 5.46bn (USD 1.3bn). Citi Handlowy (Citigroup) is number one in the league table with PLN 1.31bn (a market share of 24.07%). mBank / DM mBanku group is ranked second with PLN 1.19bn (21.87%). Bank Zachodni WBK is number three with PLN 0.67bn (12.27%). ING Wholesale Banking London and TD Securities are also among the leaders in the league table. The league table includes 21 bond arrangers. Also published league tables for domestic bonds, bonds of the financial and non-financial sectors. For the domestic bonds, the Top 3 list of arrangers is the following: #1 mBank/ DM mBanku group is number one (PLN 0.82bn in placed bonds and a market share of 26.78%); #2 Bank Zachodni WBK is number two (PLN 0.67bn in placed bonds and 21.90% of the market); #3 Citi Handlowy (Citigroup) is number three (with PLN 0.64bn and 20.90% of the market). For the financial sector bonds, the Top 3 list of arrangers is the following: #1 Bank Zachodni WBK is number one (PLN 0.67bn in placed bonds and a market share of 29.83%); #2 Citi Handlowy (Citigroup) is number two (PLN 0.64bn in placed bonds and 28.46% of the market); #3 mBank / DM mBanku group is number three (with PLN 0.60bn and 26.90% of the market). For the non-financial sector bonds, the Top 3 list of arrangers is the following: #1 mBank/ DM mBanku group is number one (PLN 0.22bn in placed bonds and a market share of 26.44%); #2 Bank Pekao / Pekao IB group is number two (PLN 0.18bn in placed bonds and a market share of 22.36%); #3 Michael/Strom is number three (PLN 0.07bn in placed bonds and a market share of 8.46%). |
