Reasons: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected Jamaica's economic growth and reduced fiscal progress. However, the agency believes the coronavirus effect will vanish in 2021, and the sovereign will return to economic growth. The negative outlook means that the agency doubts the effect of the COVID-19 outbreak won't prolong.
