On Tuesday, US Treasury yields slid due to disappointing economic data. Monthly retail sales figure increased less than expected (0.3% vs. 0.5%). 

Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist: “Retail sales in October are already showing signs of slowing in a second major pandemic lockdown even before the surge in deadly virus cases made many states issue a wave of new restrictions in the first weeks of November.”
