Profile
|
Social-entrepreneurial corporations (SECs) are sustainable business structures operating with the goal of generating profit from the production and sale of goods and services. The main difference between SECs and commercial corporations is that the profits earned are reinvested to achieve social, economic, or cultural goals for the population of the region in whose interests the SECs were created.
The Aktobe Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation Joint-Stock Company was established in February 2010 through the reorganization of Batys Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation National Company JSC. The Akimat of Aktobe Region is the sole shareholder of the Company. The main goal of transferring state-owned assets to SECs is their effective use in commercial activities aimed at attracting investment and implementing new projects. |
