The National Rating Agency (NRA) is an independent Russian rating agency. A brand known on the Russian market for 20 years. It is included in the register of credit rating agencies of the Bank of Russia. The agency assigns credit ratings, non-credit ratings of reliability and quality of services, ESG ratings, carries out verification of "green" and "social" bonds, conducts analytical research on a wide range of issues.

NRA credit ratings (for banks) are taken into account by the Bank of Russia to regulate the activities of the central counterparty, the central depository and financial platform operators. NRA credit ratings are also taken into account for organizations authorized to service Russia's external debt. Used by the Moscow Exchange to include the issuer's bonds in the Growth Sector; SPB Exchange - to admit the issuer's bonds to trading; National Settlement Depository - when calculating the cost of ruble bonds, companies - to enter the stock market or receive financing for sustainable development projects.

NRA has extensive experience in the field of sustainable development, including environmental projects. The agency is the first Russian signatory to the PRI principles for credit rating agencies and has the status of Observer of the ICMA Sustainable Bond Principles. The Agency is included in the register of the Moscow Exchange as a verifier of issues of green and social bonds and in the list of approved independent verifiers of the VEB.RF Development Corporation. The Agency reinforces the importance of ESG criteria in its rating methodologies.
