The International Trade and Integration Research Center (ITI) was established in April 2016 to carry out a systematic analysis of the participation of Russia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in international trade, to study the international practice of using trade policy instruments provided for by World Trade Organization agreements, and to develop economic integration processes. A separate area of work is the identification, classification and search for ways to reduce non-tariff barriers to trade. ITI combines the competencies and experience of participants in multilateral trade negotiations on Russia's accession to the WTO, the development and conclusion of interstate trade and economic agreements, draft Federal Laws of the Russian Federation and acts of the Government of the Russian Federation, the development of the regulatory framework of the EAEU.
