Joint-Stock company "Moscow Regional Power Grid Company" was established on the basis of the decree of the Government of the Moscow Region dated 07/19/2005 No. 456/26 "On the participation of the Moscow Region in the creation of the open joint-Stock company "Moscow Regional Power Grid Company". Mosoblenergo JSC was established in accordance with the Federal Law "On Joint Stock Companies", the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation regulating the activities of business companies and was registered as a legal entity on November 07, 2005. The creation of Mosoblenergo JSC in 2005 with 100% participation in the authorized capital of the Moscow region was caused by the need to solve the accumulated problems in the regional power supply, such as a shortage of electric power, a decrease in the reliability of power supply to consumers, a high level of losses during the transmission of electric energy. Today, Mosoblenergo JSC is one of the largest power grid companies in the region, which meets the needs of the economy in transmitting capacities, is a reliable partner of the state executive authorities of the Moscow Region and local self-government bodies in planning and implementing territorial development programs of the Moscow Region, a conscientious taxpayer and employer.
