Baiseitov Bakhytbek Rymbekovich

Bakhytbek Rymbekovich Bayseitov is a Kazakh financier, chairman of the Board of Directors and the main shareholder of the bank "CenterCredit". He was born on May 14, 1958 in the Kazakh SSR, in the city of Alma-Ata. Bayseitov is the son of Bayseitov Rymbek Smakovich, Minister of Finance of the Kazakh SSR (1974-1985). In 1979, Baiseitov graduated from the Moscow Financial Institute (now the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation). In 1981, Bayseitov graduated from the Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy (now Narkhoz University). From 1982 to 1986, he studied at the postgraduate course of the same university at the Department of Money Circulation and Credit. In 1987 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of National Economy. Plekhanova (Faculty of Advanced Training). Bakhytbek Baiseitov worked as an economist at the Alma-Ata regional office of the State Bank; as an economist and deputy head of the department of the Kazakh Republican Bank of the USSR Housing and Social Bank. In 1988, he became Chairman of the Board of the Alma-Ata Central Cooperative Bank; then he worked as Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Central Joint Stock Bank (KCAB) "Centerbank", was Chairman of the Supervisory Board (Board of Directors) of this bank (since March 1997, the company was renamed into JSC "Bank CenterCredit"). Bayseitov has also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board (Board of Directors) of the Kazakhstan International Bank; President of the Atameken Financial and Investment Corporation; member of the Board of Directors of TuranAlem Bank; President of the Congress of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan; President of the Association of Banks of Kazakhstan.
