Burgan Finansal Kiralama A.S. was established in March 1994 for the purpose of conducting leasing operations under the Leasing Law No. 3226, and has been operating successfully since then. The company was renamed from Tekfen Finansal Kiralama A.S. to EFG Finansal Kiralama A.S. in 2007 following the sale of 70% of Tekfenbank A.S(the main shareholder) by Tekfen Holding to EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A.The shares held by the main shareholder Eurobank Tekfen A.S. were sold out to Burgan Bank in 2012, whereupon the trade name of the company was changed to Burgan Finansal Kiralama A.S. Burgan Bank S.A.K. acquired 99,26% of the shares of Eurobank Tekfen A.S. on December 2, 2012 and became the main share holdr of the bank, where the latter possesses 99,99% of our companies shares. Following this action the name of the bank chaged to Burgan Bank A.S. and the name of our company to Burgan Finansal Kiralama A.S. on January 28,2013.
