CJSC Alfa-Bank (Belarus) was established in 1999 (until November 2008 - CJSC Bank for International Trade and Investments (CJSC Mezhtorgbank). In July 2008, the Alfa-Group consortium completed the acquisition of more than 88% of this bank, as a result of which the bank became a part of the banking group "Alfa-Bank."
