Further, it supplies and operates road tolling, charging, control, and monitoring systems for urban areas, car parks, and interports; and implements and operates a satellite-based tolling system for heavy vehicles. The company was formerly known as Autostrade S.p.A. and changed its name to Atlantia S.p.A. in May 2007. Atlantia S.p.A. was founded in 1950 and is based in Roma, Italy.
