Profile

CJSC Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB) was established in 2001, becoming the largest commercial bank in the Republic with an authorized capital of US $ 7 million. At the end of 2007, the authorized capital of the Bank was increased to USD 10 million. In 2010, a decision was made to increase the capital again to $ 17.5 million. The bank's shareholders are world famous financial institutions (90%) and the Kyrgyz Republic (10%). The international shareholders include the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (21%), Khabib Bank Limited (18%), the German Development Bank DEG (17%), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (17%) and the International Finance Corporation - a member of the World Bank (17%). KfW is a co-founder of the bank and largely provides access to long-term financial resources.
