Profile

After LimakPort acquired operational rights of the port; the invesments have been started as to make the port a modern container port. Since the service life of berths, storage areas, roads, port entrance and exit gates, warehouses and buildings were ended, all the structures were demolished, re-constructed and new machineries and equipments were procured for the vessel and terminal operations. Dredging operations were carried out as to enable vessels having 14,50-15 mt draft to berth. At the end of these investments, Iskenderun port has become one of the most important container terminal in Eastern Mediterranean.
