Mexico's Cablemás is a cable television, phone, and internet service provider and the country's second largest cable TV operator. The company offers its services through public telecommunications systems in the north, south-central, and southeast regions of Mexico under the concessions granted by the government. Operating in 49 cities, the company's cable network serves some 900,000 cable television subscribers, 300,000 high-speed internet subscribers, and 150,000 telephony lines, with some 2.8mn homes passed. The company is a subsidiary of Mexican broadcast giant Grupo Televisa. Cablemás was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Mexico City.
