In addition, NGC, through its subsidiary, National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited, engages in port, industrial site, and marine infrastructure development and services; promotion and facilitation of investment in the natural gas sector; industrial land leasing; laydown and fabrication of yard facilities; bioremediation; and port and dock services at the La Brea Industrial Estate and the Port of Brighton. The company was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited operates as a subsidiary of Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
