Being one of leaders in civil engineering sector of Azerbaijan, «AKKORD» has been established in 2005. The meaningful decrees signed by President Ilham Aliyev have brought an impetus to the idea of creating this Group. These are two Presidential documents: the Decree on Measures to speed up Social and Economic Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 24 November 2003 and the Decree on Approval of the State Program on Social and Economic Development of the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan (for the years 2004 - 2008) dated 11 February 2004. These decrees of the President have created new possibilities for skillful business community and became a new stage in the development of national entrepreneurship. Bringing its contribution to the development of non-oil sector of Azerbaijan, «AKKORD» has succeeded in setting up new standards in the construction sector. During short period of time, the Group has turned out into the leader company in the field of construction and commercialization of living mansions, other buildings for public use, construction materials production and processing. Alongside by construction of living mansions, «AKKORD» which played a crucial role in the development of Azerbaijani economy, has gained great results in meeting the needs of dynamically growing construction sector of the country in construction materials.
