Lipetsk region is part of the Central Federal District. It borders: in the south - with the Voronezh and Kursk regions, in the west - with the Oryol region, in the north-west - with the Tula region, in the north - with the Ryazan region, in the east - with the Tambov region. The region occupies a leading position in the Russian Federation in the production of household refrigerators and freezers, steel and rolled ferrous metals, and is a major producer of granulated sugar and canned fruits and vegetables.
The Finance Department of the Lipetsk Region is the executive body of state power of the region, ensuring the implementation of a unified budget policy and carrying out general management of the finance organization of the Lipetsk Region.
