Feb. rolled steel output +15%; conditions for FX puttable bonds; auction details; Kyiv awaits MoF approval
Economics: Ukrainian rolled steel output up 15% MoM in February
Ukrainian steel mills increased their output of crude steel by 17.9% MoM, to 2.9mt, and rolled steel by 15.3% MoM, to 2.5mt in February, as reported by UGMK. In the 1Q12, Ukrainian steelmakers decreased their production of crude steel by 5.5% YoY, to 8.19mt, and production of rolled steel by 0.3% YoY, to 7.1mt.
