Gov\'t confirms its willingness to service debt; industrial production and public debt in focus
Economics: The government addresses Thursday\'s mishap on IMF debt
On Friday, during the MoF\'s announcement of its 2011 state budget results, when asked about the government\'s plan to restructure the IMF debt, First Deputy Finance Minister Anatoliy Miarkovsky firmly denied any need for such action -the day after another deputy minister of the economy mentioned such a possibility. However, PM Azarov unfortunately did not reiterate Miarkovsky\'s denial, thus reassuring the market over any concerns about Ukraine\'s stability, and instead mentioned \"restructuring\" while referring to Ukraine\'s IMF debt.
