It was a generally quiet day in EM trading. A weaker treasury market caused some
price erosion although the spread on Russia 30 remained constant at +312. First
trade this morning was at 95.3125 (+311). Turkey took advantage of the recent
positive sentiment for it by, successfully, issuing a new 10yr deal to both finish its
funding requirements for 2004 and start pre-funding 2005.
