Ukraine-IMF talks to be continued; Ukreximbank 4Q11 UAS results; FX news: UAH breaches 8.038 level
The Ukrainian delegation, including is in Washington for meetings with the IMF representatives this week, but the negotiations have so far not yielded any final decisions, Interfax-Ukraine reported, according to Vice-Prime Minister Sergiy Tihipko, who said negotiations would be continued in two or three weeks. The main sticking point in the negotiations is the gas price for the population: the IMF insists on the price increasing, but the Ukrainian government expounded on alternative proposals about compensation for these expenditures using funds from the state budget.
