CPI monitor: One-off utility tariffs
Inflation continued to gain pace over the November 29 – December 5 period, reaching 0.58% and thus exceeding the previous week's figure of 0.19%. The main reason behind the acceleration of price growth was the indexation of utility tariffs. Stable inflation components reverted to their lowest level in the past few weeks. We expect the CBR to keep the key rate unchanged at 7.5% until year end.
