-The Fed will take its turn on center stage this week with a two day meeting of the FOMC culminating with Wednesday’s rate announcement;
-The first look at Q4 2016 GDP on Friday showed slower growth than anticipated, with the annualized pace coming in at 1.9% compared to consensus projections of 2.2%;
-On the heels of fewer deals, secondary corporate bond credit spreads have ground tighter on lower supply and overall positive earnings results;
-This week’ s municipal new issue calendar has shrunk a bit since last week, with some issuers taking more of a wait and see approach to the market
