For almost 20 years, the company has been providing Russian railways with modern trains, necessary equipment and services, and the urban road infrastructure with public transport. STM produces a new model of Finist high-speed trains, DC freight electric locomotives, as well as track equipment for the construction, repair and maintenance of railway infrastructure. In addition, the company is engaged in the repair and maintenance of locomotives. A key area of work is the organization of the production of high–speed electric trains for the Moscow–St. Petersburg high-speed railway, the country's first high-speed railway.
