Rottami Metalli Italia was established in 1972, under the name Rotamfer, in Castelnuovo del Garda, in order to cope with an iron scrap market that was going to face changing times, satisfying the demand of the steelworks for a higher quality product, with the need to interpose, between the scrap producer and the steel mills, a plant equipped in order to treat the materials properly, recovering raw materials from scraps. Purpose of R.M.I.’s activity is the total recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous materials coming from end of life vehicles, waste of electric and electronic equipment (WEEE), steel packaging and other types of ferrous and non-ferrous scraps.
