The company is the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production company in Colombia. Frontera Energy Corporation owns 100 percent of Pacific Stratus and Kappa Energy Holdings, as well as Meta Petroleum Limited, a Colombian oil operator which operates the Rubiales and Piriri oil fields in Colombia’s Llanos Basin n association with Ecopetrol S.A., the Colombian national oil company.
