• The purpose of placing
  We estimate that the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes will be approximately US$492.8 million after deducting underwriting discounts and offering expenses. The Notes will be issued by Suzano’s wholly-owned subsidiary Suzano Austria GmbH (previously known as Bahia Sul Holdings GmbH), incorporated under the laws of Austria and an amount equal to the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes will be allocated by us to finance or refinance capital expenditures and investments in one or more “Eligible Green Projects” in Brazil. Eligible Green Projects include (i) developed and completed projects with disbursements made during the preceding eighteen months, (ii) existing projects with disbursements made following the issue date of the Notes and (iii) projects with commitments after the issuance date of the Notes up to the maturity date.
