Its products include implants used in joint replacement, trauma, and spinal surgeries; surgical equipment and surgical navigation systems; endoscopic and communications systems; patient handling and emergency medical equipment, as well as other medical device products used in a variety of medical specialties. In June 2011 the Company acquired Orthovita, Inc. (Orthovita). In July 2011, it acquired Memometal Technologies (Memometal). In October 2011, it acquired Concentric Medical, Inc. (Concentric).
