KTZh - Freight Transportation LLP was established in June 2016 as a result of the implementation of a project on a phased transition to a target organizational structure within the framework of the Business Transformation Program. This project allowed to optimize a number of subsidiaries of JSC NC KTZh . In the structure of LLP "KTZh - Freight Transportation" there is a branch network formed of road departments and locomotive depots that service customers on the railway network of Kazakhstan and provide a full range of services for the transportation of goods. By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 29, 2017, KTZh - Freight Transportation LLP was assigned the status of the National Freight Carrier. According to the law "On Railway Transport" the National Carrier has the following tasks: execution of military and special transportations, the plan of forming trains. Obtaining this status is proof of high confidence on the part of the state.
