    We expect the net proceeds to Braskem America Finance from the sale of the notes to be approximately 489.9 million USD, after deducting the fees and estimated expenses of the offering. We intend to use the net proceeds of this offering (1) to prepay all amounts outstanding under the syndicated unsecured credit agreement that we entered into to finance the Sunoco Chemicals Acquisition, (2) to prepay a portion of our other short-term and long-term indebtedness, and (3) for general corporate purposes.
