Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat Joint Stock Company (NMMC) is an Uzbek mining and metallurgical enterprise that carries out a full production cycle - from geological exploration and ore mining to its processing and the production of finished products, primarily gold and silver. The company owns 12 deposits, 8 hydrometallurgical plants, and 2 heap leaching facilities, with its key asset being the Muruntau mine - one of the largest open-pit gold deposits in the world. NGMK is among the world leaders in gold production.
As part of a reorganization in 2022, specialized enterprises were spun off from NMMC, including State Enterprise "Navoiyuran" for work with uranium and rare earth metals.
