New vise-prime minister of Uzbekistan Shoismatov will coordinate machinery, metallurgy, oil and gas industry.

Ergash Shoismatov was approved as a vice-prime minister of Uzbekistan, press-service of the President informed “Interfax” on Monday. The decree on approving E.Shoismatov as a vice-prime minister was signed by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. “Approve E.Shoismatov as a vice-prime-minister, by making him responsible for coordinating machinery, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, oil and gas, geology, electro energy, chemical production and also standardization and metrology of state and mobilization reserves”, - was said in accepted document. E.Shoismatov was born in 1951, graduated from Tashkent Polytechnical Institute. Before he worked as a chairman of State joint-stock company “Uzbekenergo”, was minister of energetic and electrification, leaded one of the biggest Hydroelectric Power Station in the Republic New-Angren. Utkir Sultanov, who worked as a prime minister before, was discharged because of passing to other work.
