Sibirtelecom may start placing commercial papers in July-September 2009

OAO Sibirtelecom may start placing commercial papers in July-September 2009, Prime-Tass reports citing Deputy Head of the Board of Baltinvestbank Evgeny Litvin. He pointed out that the exact timing would be set taking into account world market conditions, the company’s demand for financing and the necessity to round up a number of corporate procedures required to prepare the issuance. The issuance will amount RUR4bn, it is supposed to be placed through public offering. Sibirtelecom signed an agreement with Baltinvestbank on placing a series of commercial paper issues worth RUR4bn in 2009-2011. The agreement was signed in early March.
