On Wednesday, US Treasury yields jumped after key inflation report showed a faster-than-expected icrease in prices.

April’s Consumer Price Index surged 4.2% (vs. 3.6% expected by Dow Jones economists). It was the biggest year-over-year increase since 2008. The monthly increase was 0.8%, compared with 0.2% expected.
