On Monday, US Treasury yields surged on the positive news about the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccine, which was developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, is proven to be over 90% effective in a study. The market didn't expect such a high rate. Previously, White House coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci claimed that 50% or 60% effectiveness would be acceptable.
